Memory Support Wing
Within Kobernick-Anchin’s assisted living residence, Anchin Pavilion, is the Fanny Green Memory Support Wing. The Memory Support Wing offers a secure, home-like, memory support residence with amenities that meet both the physical and spiritual needs of a loved one diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease or related dementia. Our exceptionally high ratio of staff to residents assures the personal attention our residents require and deserve. If you have a loved one living in our Memory Support Unit, we are sensitive to your needs and concerns.
Security
The devoted staff at Anchin Pavilion promotes the highest level of health care and self-reliance in a secure and supportive environment. Residents enjoy an enclosed courtyard with gazebo and beautiful gardens all within the confines of a Wander Guard protected unit.
Nursing Care
Our nursing staff has undergone advanced training in Alzheimer’s and related dementia. They can provide special services such as incontinent care products and specialized utensils for eating. All medication is administered by licensed professionals, and our high staff-to-resident ratio is overseen by a licensed nurse.
Activities and Lifestyle
Memory Support residents participate in creative activities within the unit, and they take part in many of the wonderful activities enjoyed by our resident community. The overall program includes arts and crafts, games, dance, exercise, gardening, live entertainment and special outings. Residents can also enjoy our bird aviary and have some great fun with the unit’s pet, a loving Shelty, named Socks.
Our Executive Chef plans three delicious gourmet Kosher meals each day served by a professional wait staff in a gracious dining room located in the memory support unit. Special preferences and dietary needs are always accommodated. Family and friends are always welcome to join our residents at mealtime.
